About Mrs. Deehr

My name is Charlotte Deehr, and I am a fourth grade teacher at Franklin Elementary School.  This is my 17th year teaching:  15 of them in fourth grade, one year in first grade, and one year teaching a 4/5 multi-age.  I graduated from Lakeland College in 2000 with bachelor's degrees in Elementary Education and Children's Theatre.  I received my master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction (emphasis in Creative Arts in Learning) from Lesley University in 2004.

I love teaching, and can't imagine doing anything different with my life.  Social Studies is my favorite subject to teach, but math has really growing on me in the past few years!  I truly believe children learn best when they enjoy what they are doing, and strive to make that happen every day.

Outside of school, I love to go geocaching and camping with my family (husband and two children), read, and sing.  I also am an avid theatre lover, both performing in shows and attending them.
