We invite you to become a member of our Parent/Teacher Association (PTA).  We are a group of parents, teachers and staff volunteers who work together to help make Franklin School a fun place for students to learn and grow.

The PTA is very involved in the planning of many school events throughout the school year.  A few of the events we sponsor are the fall and spring book fairs, which this year will be virtual; educational programming for students; and monthly fun, free family events, which this year, have been revamped due to the COVID-19 pandemic.  Our past events have been a Packer tailgate picnic, trick-or-treat in the hallways, a night with a magician, and escape rooms.  The PTA also supports both staff and students in fulfilling requests to help make each student's education the best it can be.  We raised money to purchase additional playground equipment, and we have a float in the Holiday Parade.  We are proud to say we have won the privilege to host Mrs. Clause and Santa in the past!

We invite you to join us at the PTA meetings which are held on the third Wednesday of every month at 6:00 p.m. which are usually held in the Franklin library; however, this year, our meetings are virtual.  When you become a PTA member, the meeting code will be sent to you.  When we are able to meet in the Franklin library, free childcare is provided!  During these meetings, we discuss upcoming events and funding that we provide for programs, fundraisers and book fairs.  We are always looking for volunteers to help with these events!

To become a PTA member, please contact the office or e-mail the PTA for a registration form.  You can also click the "PTA By-laws, Membership and Budgets" link.  You can then mail the form to the school.  Membership dues are only $5.25 a year.  Please like us on Facebook as well.

Our 2020-21 PTA officers are:  Brittany Comeau - President; Kim Mott - Vice President; Tammy Seidl - Treasurer; and Renee Schweigl - Secretary.
